HAS ANYBODY SAID IT YET? BOYCOTT THE OSCARS (Oscars Live Thread)

I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.
I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.
Pass it on...

Yea verily. My wife's sister and her husband are over for dinner. They want to watch that dreck. I came upstairs to find some sanity on Freerepublic.
I do have to admit though, what little I saw was hilarious. What buffoons.

Jane is fabulous. One of the last of the "dames." I loved any movie she was in. Sexy, fun, great voice.

Get past the political agenda, and
The Girl in Cafe is a wonderful film.
