I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.
I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.
Pass it on...
No kidding? What were the Beatles Ed Sullivan numbers?
I wish you did too!
I bought a pair for my Ex, a month before we separated. I asked if she wanted to give them back. She said no.

In "Lady in the Water," a story originally conceived by Shyamalan for his children, a modest building manager named Cleveland Heep (Paul Giamatti) rescues a mysterious young woman (Bryce Dallas Howard) from danger and discovers she is actually a narf, a character from a bedtime story who is trying to make the treacherous journey from our world back to hers. Cleveland and his fellow tenants start to realize that they are also characters in this bedtime story. As Cleveland falls deeper and deeper in love with the woman, he works together with the tenants to protect his new fragile friend from the deadly creatures that reside in this fable and are determined to prevent her from returning home.
Your part in making this "boycott" such a successful failure should not be overlooked.
Barney is missing.
Alright! The Palestinian film LOST. Good. And Crash just got film editing.
I actually heard someone say that Brokeback was a huge success and made 80million dollars.... heck, some movies make that on opening weekend.
Thanks
I've always heard about Andy Milligan movies, but have never had the good fortune to see one. I have heard they are awful. I HAVE seen "Monster A-Go-Go" on MST3K. I can't conceive of anything being worse, and I HAVE seen "Manos".
No! Where do you get one? iTunes charges 99 cents.
I wouldn't have given them back either.....well, maybe someday...sigh!
Joaquin, come on Joaquin... Whoo hoo!
I expect them to start rioting at any moment.
I expect them to start rioting at any moment.
Maybe she didn't like Jon Stewarts' Angeline Jolie comments?
Oscars in good years are in the low 50 million level.
