HAS ANYBODY SAID IT YET? BOYCOTT THE OSCARS (Oscars Live Thread)

I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.
I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.
Pass it on...

The first movie to drop the "F" bomb -- if we only knew then what we know now.

Not for nothing, but it wasn't really a bad year for Hollywood deaths at all.
To: mass55th
I was wondering that too--but husband said it's just for 2005.

So what about Don Knotts, Darren McGavin and Dennis Weaver?
Must be just the ones who died in '05.

All of Altman's flicks were nothing but pompous mutterings.

22 minutes left unless they go over. I'm getting mighty tired.

They were mainly television stars and never were nominated/won Oscars. They should be remembered at the Emmys.

What in the world was wrong with Jennifer Anniston? She looked like she was going to bawl when she walked out, and she was dressed like she was going to a funeral.
And what is that big bow on Charlize's shoulder? She always looks good except for this.
I felt bad seeing Lauren Bacall, bless her heart. She really struggled out there.
