I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.
I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.
Pass it on...
Exactly. I haven't seen a Bruckheimer movie I didn't thoroughly enjoy. BHD was a great movie and not easy to watch or watch a second time, but well told. Bruckheimer has practically saved CBS with all the programs he produces for them.
Emineim won for his rap song from 8 Mile in 2002.
LOL!
I'm talking about MASH the movie. MASH the TV show could be tedious, but the best episodes were some great TV.
I know....I hated both of them..
Eminem's "Lose Yourself" won a few years ago. So this isn't exactly a groundbreaking win.
I don't know if you meant it to be, but that was LMAO funny! I mean LOOK at the stage, look at the movies, look at the actors..how can anything POSSIBLY make it any cheaper than it already IS???!;)
I'm certainly not anti-rap. I used to dig it a lot as a teenager. I wasn't much into that particular song, however. I thought it kind of stunk. LOL
Luckily, I missed or had forgotten that.
But - now that you mention it - the pain is returning.
Geez....
Ugh, here comes Clooney again...
I feel for the Freeper ladies watching tonight, most don't even get to enjoy the vicarious thrill of the mammary moments.
March of the Penguins is out on DVD, FYI.
I knew you were talking about the movie. It was one of those movies that everybody seemed to like but me and there is a long list of those.
Georgie's up.

(Where is Billy Crystal when you need him)
The Andy Griffith Show episodes being aired right now are in "amazing technicolor" which just adds to the excitement!
I'm sure you will be delighted to hear the Gershwins never won the best-song award.
They too say, congratulations!
