Are you aware of any specific, credible allegations of wrongdoing against this company?

No.

Is such knowledge necessary for a reasonable American to oppose this?

Are you serious?

You oppose this company taking over a contract.

You must have a specific reason this specific company should not be allowed to do that, yes? A reason based on some past behavior by this company?

Those who oppose doing business with the UAE should be even more opposed to buying oil from Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, etc. And they should be horrified that we buy a long long list of products from China, a closed, repressive state which exploits its people. The UAE is a good ally to have in the Middle East, and improving relations with that country is a positive step. Do they agree with everything we say? Of course not. Which countries do?
The DPW deal has already been thoroughly reviewed, and it will stand. The ports will be more secure, not less.
