An old Texas Aggie song I learned back in 1940.

"I'd rather be an Aggie a mean so and so than be from any other school and rolling in dough, I'd rather be out on the highway thumbing a ride than have Miss Gretta Garbo for my blushing bride.

I'm true to the colors of Maroon and White whether we win or lose or are in the wrong or right and if we lose old pal you will hear me say let's go out to Ed's and drink our cares away, I'd rather be an Aggie no shirt or no tie, I guess I'll be an Aggie til the day that I die!

"Don't send my boy to Texas, the dying mother said. Don't send my boy to Kansas, for I'd rather see him dead. Don't send him to Missouri, just send him to ... O ... U ... Don't send my boy to OSU, for that would never do.

Then it's Boomer Sooner Oklahoma, Boomer Sooner OKU. I'm Sooner born, Sooner bred, and when I die, I'll be Sooner dead. Rah Oklahoma, Rah Oklahoma, Rah Oklahoma, OK U."
