That's an OLD joke, baby.
Predates Mormonism, I'd wager.

Chocolate and sweets. I'm also going to try to be nicer which means I'll have to stay away from the Cindy Sheehan threads.

Us Baptists have already given up everything....except when nobody's lookin..........Old joke...
Never take ONE Baptist fishing with you.....He'll drink all your beer. Take two Baptists, and neither of them will touch it.

Peanut Butter. That's like a Lutheran giving up coffee.
I'm giving up Girl Scout cookies (Samoas, Thin Mints, and Tagalongs). Thank God I have a few days left before Lent starts.

I have not decided yet. I guess I better get to it soon. It is a shame that some on here are making fun of this, but it is serious to the Catholics. I guess you can make fun of Catholics, but God forbid you make fun of the Evangelical Baptists.

When I was growing up, we had fish every Friday, and that soured me for life on eating fish. And I love to fish. Our staple was cheese pizzas or omelets. "Where's the Beef?"

Think it has something to do with those seeds that they cook in soup.
