And Costas says. "The military, for whatever other problems it has, offers the greatest opportunity to African Americans..."

Oh, and I don't believe for a minute that the guy ate mountain lion chops. Just don't believe that one at all!

They taste like chicken.

Me neither. There were a few bits in that story that sounded off.

Dear NBC Winter Olympics advertiser:

Sunday night during the Closing Ceremony telecast I was reminded by Tom Brokaw that all white Americans are racists. Being a white American myself, I have decided to atone for my crime by not buying your products. We white racists are not worthy of patronizing your company.

Sincerely,
Racist White Guy

And I don't believe that smarmy little comment that officers from the south were purposely chosen to command the black troops because they know how to "handle" them.

Just had to look .. LOL.

"This picture is my pasties ((( NOT MINE :)))cooking on an open fire. The gold pan (prospecting pan) has flour rising and the smaller pan is a homemade mushroom gravy to pour over the pasties. Rutabagas are the ticket but I substitute with potatoes, cubed roasted mountain lion, or dried hamburger on the trail. Yes, dried hamburger. Cook it, dry it and you can have burritos, spaghetti, goulash, and anything you use hamburger for except for a patty, without refrigeration. It will keep as long as two years."
