What P&O obviously had was a bidding war between two companies - both gov't owned ports operations management businesses.The only apparent difference being that one is Asian (Singapore) owned... but less obviously at a quick glance... and the other overtly, in-your-face Arab (UAE) owned.Thank you very much for providing this informatio and pinging me to it.
