Blast from the Past:

INTJs dominated, as I recall.

ENFJs. David's lengthiest psalm, 119, pays it homage. "Law," "precept," "commandment," "statute:" these essences of inner thinking are the mysteries of Deity for which this great Feeler's soul searched.

I am an ENFJ and Psalm 119 is my favorite Psalm. (:

That is a perfectly rational design for a walking bridge failure; I heard of a guy who repaired those old fashioned steam radiators who got tired of people using them for benches and leaning posts and damaging or loosening the pipes, so he hung "High Voltage" signs on them.

My results came out:

ISFJ
Introverted Sensing Feeling Judging
Strength of the preferences %
33 12 62 1

This seems pretty accurate in my case.

Thanks for posting this interesting topic!

I'm an ISJF. I have taken these type of tests at IBM, I think they called them 'NERO'. Resultant quadrants are pretty much the same. Thanks for the memories.

The Portrait of the Mastermind Rational (iNTj)

Seems like it does fit me pretty well.

There is one attitude that sets them apart from other Rationals: they tend to be much more self-confident than the rest, having, for obscure reasons, developed a very strong will. They are rather rare, comprising no more than, say, one percent of the population. Being very judicious, decisions come naturally to them; indeed, they can hardly rest until they have things settled, decided, and set. They are the people who are able to formulate coherent and comprehensive contingency plans, hence contingency organizers or "entailers."

Scratch that. The "F" wasn't the one I got 1 point on, it was the "S"... so taking the test again so soon seems rather fruitless, as it may be swayed by "trying" to get a certain type, rather than the honest answers I did give. I was distracted the first time by my little one coloring on my lap, but I did read each and every question.

When I found out my type and that it was NF I was afraid that it put me in the company of liberals, too. Then one day I found a list of the personality types and the percentages of liberals and conservatives within each type. What I found was that while ENFJs have more liberals, INFJ is considered to be conservative.

In the past I usually came out INTJ, but this time I was mildly 'perceiving' instead of 'judging':

Your Type is
INTP
89, 62, 88, 11

The results don't generally change over time except that as we mature (age), we tend to pull in the other components (the shadow). For instance introverts may become more extraverted as they reach middle age, and extraverts may become more inner-directed. Thinkers may become more feeling-aware, and feelers more analytical and less prone to act upon feelings.

I've also seen references that correlate Myers-Briggs with political preference. INTJs tend towards libertarian, and INTPs more toward standard Republicanism. I don't remember the others.

By the way, INTJs tend to be fascinated by things like Myers-Briggs.

I'm an INTJ.

I got:

INTJ
Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging
67 38 88 67

The only time I have ever know my mother to curse was one time she called me an ass, everyone else I've ever known has said the same thing about me at some point or another. I suppose I like this explanation better.
