Maybe its because he didn't want to have to explain why, all of a sudden, he was in favor of profiling. I'd love to hear him tell me why OBL is no longer the only threat. But most of all, I would really love to hear his reason why we should isolate portions of this region rather than embrace and co-operate with them.

Well, those who are taking the other side are Hillary and Chucky ( who started this mess !) and some spineless GOPers, who have swallowed Chucky's vomit, and then spewed it out, word for word.
And Ann Coulter obviously has too, since she's repeating the canard about "port security", which WILL remain in American military hands.
