Well I guess the greatest national security 'expert' in congress, Generalisimo Congressman Murtha, is beginning to get traction on this ignoramus idea...it makes no sense for our national objectives in Iraq; consolidating a non-aggressive and non-terror sponsoring Iraq; no sense in terms of force readiness; command and control, or capabilities, or posturing or infrastructure; or for established military relationships, intelligence, responsiveness...this is wedge issue politics masqerading as security policy an anyone who wants to vote for that...well I won't say, but it is further proof how inebriated the McGovernite party is for defending America.
I say the 'defeatacrats' are an assymetric threat to America, just behind al Qaida,
...stupidity is an assymetry.

Who needs new ideas when you can trot out ones that have already been considered and rejected?

I wish they'd do the nation a favor, and settle on a plan to fall on their own swords.

If you ever just suspected that the Dims are without a compass or a rudder now they are going to unite and confirm your suspicion.
This is like lemming suicide.

"US troops and install them elsewhere in the region, where they could respond to emergencies in Iraq and help fight terrorism in other countries."
Wasn't that Murtha's odd ball idea? Put in Kuwait, rush back into Iraq.

They aren't going to do anything. All they're going to do is make lot's of noise and attempt to bring the DUmmies and other various liberal outriders back on board and then do nothing.

Gee, and all Rove did was mention it to one RAT and they go and tell all the other RATS. What a super-genious. He is brilliant.

It might save some time if the democrats just release a statement that they ARE the party of "cut and run". Sort of cutting to the bottom line.

A democratic fund raising ploy. They apparently need to squeeze a little more from the DUmmies.
They will try to trick them into thinking that they are going to do this, but I don't think that even the Congressional Democrats are that stupid. It would be political suicide.
Thanks to Howard Dean, the Dems are forced to borrow hippie money.

Are you sure it isn't Generalissimo Pelosi and her right hand man, el Capitain Murtha? I don't think Murtha has had an original thought in his sclerotic brain in the past 25 yrs. that wasn't planted there by some other looney liberal.

Relax!
They are just getting ready to protest/claim responcibility of deciding - who the "who's next" is, depending on the MSM polls, after military operations have begun.
If I was a partisan Republican, I would designate North Korea and/or Venezuela, just to mess with their heads and aspirations.

The party remains divided on some points, including how much detail to include in a party-produced document, fearful of giving too much fodder for attacks by Republicans.
Please let Howard Dean unveil the plan, please please please!
Maybe they could hand out white towels for Liberals to twirl like the Steelers Terrible Towels. They could call them the Cowardly Towels.
To: MaximusRules
DemocRATS will always "unite" anytime cowardice and cutting and running is involved.

Hard to believe that they can stand and say with a straight face that it is us that want to play politics with the WOT.
