Hey, kingy: shut up, ya dumb bastard. Go back to your ivory tower. Respect for religions means allowing them in your country. Will there be churches in Saudi anytime soon? Didn't think so.

I'll think about respecting Islam, when there are churches and synagogues is Mecca, Medina, Islamabad, Damascus, Egypt, and similar places, and the Muslim inhabitants of those locales aren't trying regularly to kill the attendees.

RIYADH: King Abdullah on Saturday called for mutual respect among all religions and beliefsDear Abdullah,
You must specifically address your barbarian islamic subjects and explain to them that if they want islam to be allowed to exist in the future, THEY must respect Judaism & Christianity.

Abdullah is not the real problem. He is relatively enlightened, but much of the kingdom he rules over is not. Neither are some of the other powerful figures such as the Interior Minister Prince Nayef, a really bad guy.

BUll!
Meanwhile he funds terrorism and the "radical" form if Islam is HIS STATE RELIGION!
I hate it when hypocrites talk out of both sides of their mouth.

I call for the next stage in relations between countries to be a stage of real dialogue where each side respects the other side, Just what does that mean ?
Right now there seems to no stage at all to launch a next stage. Just kill infidels as quickly as possible.
How about the Saudi King tell that nut-job in Iran to quit talking trash about Israel for starters???
Probably just wants to raise the price of an barrel of oil and throw the state dept a bone to chew on to tell us he's really a nice dictator.

Sure King. Let me bring a Bible into your country. Let your journalists use the expression "Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" even as ours use the expression "the Prophet (sic) Mohammed."

The West would be far ahead, if they offered $100k to every moslem family willing to return to the Middle-East.
This clash of the civilizations is going to get worse, not better.

Well, your kingshipfulness, the second you lead the way and start respecting real religions, we'll consider reigning in our contempt for your demon worshiping death cult.
Until then STFU, your hypocrisy is sickening.

Respect religions, says Saudi king Interpretation: Bow down and kiss muslim butt and accept the humiliation and degradation of your dhimmi status, and pay us the jizya, and we, in turn, will respect your right to practice your infidel religions, sometimes -- other times, not, and we will slaughter you and your children instead. But, hey, at least we'll all enjoy the benefits of mutual respect.

A quick summary of religious tolerance in Saudi Arabia from a two-year sojourn there:
Prosyletizing for a religion other than Islam is a capital crime
No Bibles nor any type of Christian symbology allowed
No religious services other than Islamic ones allowed
No non-Muslims allowed to visit the cities of Mecca or Medina. No exceptions.
Mandatory prayer services for all Muslims five times daily
Mandatory closings of all businesses during said prayer times
Please feel free to add to this list....
