I respect your feelings on this. However, in addition to making worldwide Islams "very, very angry" in the hopes they "destroy themselves", how do you suggest we further deal with the problem "now", as you call for? Should the President call their "religion" names? He's been all over the radical adherents of that "religion" for a long time. I'm sure he'd love to call the "religion" for what it is, also, but strategery must be employed.

I doubt the Muzzies will destroy themselves from anger. They are always angry, anyhow, and they presently destroy themselves with some regularity.

There's so many zillions of them scattered all over the globe, how can they "destroy themselves"? Our President told us this would be a war unlike any war before and different tactics must be used.....and that's exactly what he's doing.

Home-grown Muslims have not created any major problems here on the home front. They've been quiet. Too quiet as far as speaking out is concerned, but blessedly quiet as far as rioting and arson like in countries around the world.

One of the reasons is that neither Bush 1, Clinton or Bush 2 were or has been dumb enough to attack their "religion" with direct insulting appellations no matter how deserved. I'm sure they each have their private feelings on the murderous joke that is the Islamic cult, but they can't express it openly. Right now, we don't need to be in a shooting or sabotage war with another front here in our midst.

They've been quiet.

Respectfully, that will change when they gain a purchase point. Specifically, their religious goal is world domination. The Muslims in the United States share that intent, but are not in an advantageous position. Their passivity would change in a moment - given an safe opportunity to express their religious belief.

My comment about muslims destroying themselves was said facetiously and sometimes I forget that the person that I am responding to can not see my tongue planted firmly in my cheek. (My bad. :0)) I think it is time to confront islam not with "names," but with facts. It is time to acknowledge that most, if not all, the strife in the world has its roots in islam. I get crazy being told over and over again how islam means "peace." It does not. It means "submission." And submission is what we are headed for if the problem is not addressed soon. I do not believe that the so-called "moderate muslims" will protect their infidel bretheren from islam. Who do you think they will join when islam makes it attempt to take over the world?

Perhaps the "moderates" need a swift kick in the rear end and recognize that we are not going to roll over and die at their feet. Perhaps the "moderates" need to learn that other religions and other people of good will are looking at their religion as an enemy. Right now "moderate muslims" feel no pain. Their fanatic brothers are allowed to commit any kind of outrage imaginable without anyone but the victim suffering any pain. I think starting with the acknowledgment that islam is the problem will begin to end the problem. You say that we can not openly attack their religion right now I say, why not? I will be interested in knowing how you would approach this problem.
