I'm glad you brought up Debi Thomas. I was just thinking about her the other night and couldn't recall her name. I believe that when she was skating Revlon learned she wasn't sponsored and became her sponsor.

Thomas was a better skater than her Worlds and Olympic results show, IMO; she was attending Stanford most of that time, concentrating on studies and a degree.

There's another former black figure-skater ole Gummy might have forgotten about: Condoleezza Rice. ;)
