Do you really advocate sending armed police carrying court orders or social worker threatening foster care to the homes of parents who resist your worldview?You forgot to add starving children, evicting little old ladies into the snow, and causing global warming to the parade of imaginary horribles.

ID is also a faith-based belief. It should be taught in a religion or philosophy class - the same place I would expect to encounter discussions of deism.
I also believe in the scientific theory of evolution. Evolution should be taught in the science classroom.

Did you read what I wrote? I did NOT argue for the teaching of ID!!! Personally, I am a supporter of evolution.
The difference between you and me is that I would NEVER force evolution or ID on another parent's child and this is exactly what government schools do.
The solution is to begin the process of completely privatizing universal K-12 education. If there were complete separation of SCHOOL and state, all this acrimony would dissipate like dew on morning grass.
