Same reason that bull markets don't go on forever: as it becomes more expensive, whether financially or societally, to play the game, fewer and fewer are willing to do so.

Not a pessimist here, merely a trader. Sure, we **can** ameliorate the situation, but, sadly, only through unconstitutional practices.

When the price of liberty is the sacrifice of liberty, the only question remaining is: when will the last bit of essential liberty be taken?
