I actually like Pawlenty - he's a governor, fairly conservative, and is from a swing state...but there's no real indication that he's running, unfortunately.

He still needs to get reelected this November, so it would be presumptuous for him to express interest in the presidency. But given the lackluster crop of current Republican candidates (the bipolar McCain, the pro-abortion, pro-gay RINO Giuliani, the wafflish Allen, the gutless Frist), I think there may be a draft movement for potential candidates early in 2007.
