Rice/Brownback or Rice/Huckabee or Rice/Pence or Rice/Tancredo works for me. Preference on first choice.

Warner is the strongest they could throw at us, and he lacks a lot of the charm that Clinton had.

"I would like to see an Allen/Rice ticket."

That's what I think. That way Rice doesn't take the full political heat.

From your link.....
The ten Republicans picked by the Democrat Party include:
Sen. George Allen (R-VA), Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS),
Sen. Bill Frist (R-TN), Gingrich,
Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R-NY), Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE),
Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR), Sen. John McCain (R-AZ),
Gov. George Pataki (R-NY) and Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA).

No one on their list.

I vote for George Allen.

If I had two votes {like a democrat} I'd vote for Condoleeza Rice too.

Is this your way of saying that you won't address me or any of my remarks in the future?

If I'd have known that I would have boasted of my distain for Lincoln long ago.

Lincoln was no friend to liberty and almost destroyed the Republic as he was trying to 'save the Union'.

Do you read or just respond?

Weak and pseudo conservatives have been placed on the ballot here in PA and they have lost. Reagan ran as a strong Republican and won. So did Santorum. now, for at least the 4th time:

SANORUM IS NOW SEEN AS AN ORDINARY SELF CENTERED POLITICIAN WHOSE PRINCIPLES ARE FOR SALE THAT HE IS IN TROUBLE.

Got it yet?

It's not just me. There is a lot of opposition to him from hard core conservatives. Why do you think that his numbers are in the mid 30s? RINO's and the 'party faithful' are supporting him, many conservatives are not and crossover Dem votes are disappearing too.

Got that?

Santorum worked to crush a conservative and therefore his sincerity is being questioned.

Are we clear?

There are more dems than pubbies in the state and a lot of them vote for Specter. A smaller number voted for Santorum because he was pro life. But now they aren't even sure that he is. Why else would he support a pro abortionist. Forget the party protocal BS. People who care about the unborn do not want to hear BS about party rules. Specter got token opposition from a dem, but the dems know that Specter can be relied on for votes that matter and as a 'powerful senior Senator' he is in a position to help more than a freshman junior dem.

The 'offenses' that I mention regarding Santorum are recent -- and let me remind you that he, and no one else, is the subject of dispute here. I don't care as much about other senators. I can't do much about them. Santorum is my senator and I can do something about him.

I will not reward him with my vote and reelection. If he wins again, he knows that he can ignore our wishes with impunity. I never said that Casey would be better, but that doesn't mean that I have to accept a sellout like Ricky and NO! I will not get over it. It's a real issue and he doesn't deserve to live at my expense any more.

Send money or move to PA if you like him so much. Convince him to move to Texas if you can. I think that you'll tire of him pretty quickly yourself.

I think Bill Richardson might be as tough. He is a bit lumpy but projects a harmless persona. Richardson and Bayh might give a pause.

"Jim, you mistakenly placed John MeCain under Republican choices?"

Would be better to place him on the list of those to throw under the bus.

Richardson wont get the nomination but he is a definite vp candidate for the Dem's. Personally I just don't see the radical base of the party nominating someone like bayh or warner, many see them as nothing more then republican lite and they will subject there candidates to a purity test that makes ours look trivial.

A candidate that isn't there to "save" anything, someone with no grand ideas about what is needed, one who realizes there are four paragraphs that address presidential power and one who has the balls to tell the electorate, and Congress, that Congress' power is limited, and enumerated, and one that will act with that knowledge and understanding. A candidate that promises to be true to his oath of office.

Since the above isn't likely to happen, I'll hazard my vote will be as much a vote against the other, rather than a vote for a particular candidate.

I make no prediction on what decision those idiots might make but merely present what I think would be the ticket with the best chances of winning. Hopefully they nominate someone 180 opposite.
