The leftist media's handling of this has been the most pathetic attempt to smear Bush and Cheney in years.

Ronald Reagan JR. thinks Cheney was drunk, hence the 24 hour "cover up".

Jeez. If I had a nickel for every bit of shot that ever hit me, I'd have enough money to buy.....well, a beer.
But the point is that this is neither very rare nor very serious.

Yes, they did and I was wishing McClellan would say, "let's see, he didn't leave the scene of a car accident, DRUNK, while a young staffer drowned."

Clinton OK After Airport Incident (barf!)
News 12 ^ | 10/14/01

Posted on 10/14/2001 11:04:57 PM EDT by areafiftyone

YONKERS - A bizarre accident at Westchester County Airport involved Senator Hillary Clinton's entourage Sunday.

Sources tell News 12 Westchester that a vehicle in Senator Clinton's security team tried to bypass a mandatory check point at the airport, which has been under a heightened state of alert since the terrorist attacks. A county police officer attempting to stop the vehicle from getting through injured his shoulder. That officer was taken to Saint Agnes Hospital in White Plains, and his condition is not known.

Senator Clinton, who turned 54 Sunday, was en route to board a private jet to an unreleased destination. The former first lady could not be reached for comment.

There was a sniper outside of Ft. Hood today and it still hasn't been picked up by the wire services (at least those I can find searching news.google.com).

On the FR thread (from some radio or tv news site), someone posted later that it was a jealous non-military husband and that he didn't injure anyone. I still find it to be more newsworthy.

Since Realtree tutus don't exist, I'm sure Ron's only exposure to hunting has been one of stereotypes and gay bars.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO SUCH PERSON AS RONALD REAGAN, JR!

Thankfully, when his son was born in 1958, future President Ronald Wilson Reagan chose to name him Ronald Prescott Reagan; therefore, he is not a junior. I have a feeling that he probably eventually regretted not naming him "Twinkletoes."

Hope I never have an experience like this one. No one would ever believe I shot an attorney by accident! Come to think of it, I doubt I would believe myself. LOL

McClellan doesn't really have the stones to stand up to those insects. Ari would have eviscerated every one of them...more likely, they wouldn't have had the guts to confront him the way they do McClellan.

Frankly, I don't give a damn about the media and the fact that they are all bent out of shape about not getting the story immediately. But Vice President Cheney should have spoken with the police. The police have a job to do too. Also not speaking with the police is fueling speculation about whether or not the Vice President was trying to cover it up (as if it could be). A caller to a local talk show even suggested that the VP had been drinking and needed time for the alcohol to leave his system. All kinds of ridiculous theories will be flying around.

Having criticized the Vice President, I will add that VP Cheney was one of the main reasons that I voted for President Bush. Love that man, and will pray that this passes quickly.

The good thing about this is that the media's attention is diverted. They'll chase this rabbit all week.

O'Reilly had the right idea: Cheney shot a lawyer.

That one liner is about all this is worth.

Chris Matthews is frothing at the mouth. What a poor, poor sad man he'll be when 3 more years are ended and Bush/Cheney aren't in jail.

Hollywood brought us "Get Shorty".

Chrisssy brought us "Get Bush".
