Finally an issue or concept this stupid bastard can get his brain wrapped around...
What a freaking embarrassment this worthless POS has been..
The hair on my neck stands up, every time I walk through the Mineta International Airport -- (San Jose International, in San Jose, CA.)
When Silicon Valley really needed an enlarged and modernized airport in the 70s thru the early 90s -- we had a half assed country bumpkin airport..
Now that Silicon Valley is in decline, airlines in bankruptcy, videoconferencing really making sense, Americans targeted all over the world by Muslim lunatics -- NOW we spend the money on an airport....
A POX on all their asses -- especially Mineta.

So we already have laws prohibiting this type of behavior. He discovers that some people break the laws. Now he reacts by wanting tougher laws that stupid people will still break. Maybe he could put her on "Double Secret Probation".

Mineta announced $25 million in new federal funding over the next four years to states that pass and enforce new or tougher booster- seat laws. And the nanny state continues to encroach further into the personal lives of US citizens.

Is this the week this administration wants to lecture us on safety?
To: SmithL
I knew she wasn't the brightest bulb in the string. OTOH Mineta is the one who opposed arming airline pilots, and has drug his heals as much as possible in implementing the program. So for him to label anyone else as "irresponsible" is the height of arrogance and irony.

She's more than irresponsible. She's an idiot. That poor kid was conceived for the sole reason that his Casanova Daddy had just fathered another child with some other bimbo. Thinking like the bimbo that she is, Britney got herself knocked-up cause she wasn't about to let her man focus his attention on some other slut's kid.

the education of any ignorant parents about child safety. Except I don't want to hear the good or the bad about any celebrity. We have become a society obsessed with celebrity. Besides, if a parent is so stupid they don't realize it is dangerous to have a baby on your lap when you are driving, I doubt there is any hope for them.

I learned to drive when I was 4 years old by sitting on my dad's lap and steering while he ran the pedals. I'm also still alive.
Why is Mineta still receiving a government salary?

Normally, I don't give a darn about them either, but this time I was furious that a child was placed in danger. Yes, there are stupid parents everywhere, and B.S. (brittany spears) is now their poster-child.

but this time I was furious that a child was placed in danger.< P> Well, I'll give you that. There was an innocent victim in this case. On the other hand, which is worse, having your face crushed between a steering wheel and Britanny, or being raised by Britanny? You are a victim of child abuse either way.

I think we already know Britney is irresponsible. You could probably add, foolish, loose, immoral and possibly dumb.
On the other hand I bet she is a fairly good Mother.
Now Mineta is just a complete jerk.
