If the West fails to peacefully remove the Zionist entity from the Middle East, the Palestinians and their Islamic allies will do so through violent fury, warned Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at a mass demonstration in Tehran Saturday.
Addressing the hundreds of thousands who turned out to mark the 27th anniversary of Iran's Islamic Revolution, the virulent leader, as reported by WorldNetDaily, said regarding Israel:
We ask the West to remove what they created sixty years ago and if they do not listen to our recommendations, then the Palestinian nation and other nations will eventually do this for them. Remove Israel before it is too late and save yourself from the fury of regional nations. Islam dictates that formerly-Muslim dominated lands cannot revert to permanent non-Muslim control. It is this cornerstone of their faith that drives the murderous anti-Israel policies of Hamas and most of the Jewish state's Middle East neighbors.
But the threat is not only to Israel and other non-Muslim nations that have regained their sovereignty. Reconquering them is only the first step.
According to the Muslim faith, jihad must be waged until the entire world is under the thumb of Islam. Ahmadinejad declared that now is the time for the West to bow to this reality and submit to Allah:
On the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian nation, numbering in the millions, calls upon those governments to worship Allah. Similar sentiment was expressed by Iran's Hamas allies in the Palestinian Authority last week.
Speaking at a Damascus mosque on February 3, overall Hamas political leader Khaled Mashal declared:
We say to this West... By Allah, you will be defeated... Tomorrow, our nation will sit on the throne of the world. This is not a figment of the imagination, but a fact.
They've noticed but they are trying to pretend there's not a big problem
Kind of reminds me of Winston Churchill before WWII and how he tried to warn everyone
He was ridiculed and eventually proven right
Sadly though ... millions lost their lives because no one would listen
LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL!
That is what he is screaming the lungs out saying.
I am confident Bush will deliver before he leaves office.
Don't you believe that for a moment. Whether what ever they are fixin' to throw works or not is unknown, but you can bet whatever it is will be a surprise. "Stupid" is the best of all feints.
He has the technology, he has Russia. He would not shooting his mouth off if he did not. What he does not have is the quantity yet, and if he can get us to destroy Israel for him that will help that.
He's living on a relatively small piece of land. With that he thinks he can defeat the world. He is sorely mistaken. BRING IT ON!
Oh no, not the violent fury routine again.... I'm still waiting for all of 873 other promised violent, thundering volcano of pure anger and rage that were supposed to get us.
What if one of Mahmood's targets is Mecca?
If you wanted chaos, to destabilize (if you call what we have stability)--if you wanted to unite the Muslim world in an outpouring of rage--bomb Mecca and blame it on the West.
Mine was a poorly constructed post. I do not believe terrorism can or will "overthrow" the US or Israel. I do believe that whatever the mullahs are planning has THEIR confidence of success. IOW, it will be worse than we expect, and not as successful as they hope.
I'll bow down to allah when every muslim on the face of the earth is dead and buried deep enough not to smell.
Actually they had nothing to do with facts but were a simple, very simple, representation of the division between 'good' and 'evil', which in this world is not so simple of a division. The United States government uses leaders that many would consider 'evil' to forward its agenda (i.e. Hussein, Noreiga) when it fulfills a need. Standard operating practice during the Cold War. At the time of their usage, the United States government turns a blind eye to their activities. However, when their usefulness is over, these same leaders become 'evil'.
What has changed in their activities? Nothing. I understand 'evil' exists. I also understand at no point in the Constitution, nor in the words of most of the Framers did they require, mandate, suggest, or hint at our responsibility, requirement, or right to 'deal with it' if said actions did not represent a threat to the borders of this nation of states.
Of course the Framers also recommended that the United States abstain 'from interference in the concerns of others, even when conflict has been for principles to which she clings'. That would include 'spreading democracy'
I do agree with you, of course. The mullas are going to get burned. I would hate to jump the gun to soon as most of Irans population was born AFTER the 1979 revolution. They hold the US in high regard. I would hate to lose that 'cultural capital'.
However, having said that, I think we should not wait to long as letting the genie escape from the bottle, we will not be able to put it back.
Israel would not hesitate to use their nukes. I cannot blame them, nor find fault. I do applaud their restraint so far. I know that with the PA/HAMAS mess on their door steps they are otherwise occupied.
Immagine if a Iranian SSM missed Israel with its nuke and landed in GAZA. Just a thought.

Re your 279 - Amen!
As a Christian, I pray for the Shalom of Israel regularly, and eagerly await Messhiah - and as you say, the significance of the argument over it being the first or second epiphany will quickly become irrelavent when it happens.
If you want to see someone really on fire for the Creator, check in with a fellowship of Messianic Christians, or Jews who have recognized Yeshua as Messhiah and Savior.
They don't think of themselves as "Converts", but rather "Completed" Jews.
Needless to say, Orthodox Jewish Theologians don't quite see it that way.
Actually, I rather opine that this is how the original Apostles thought of themselves, and probably split off as a distinct "religion" only as a function of alienation and persecution by the established Jewish society and mainstream religious institutions.
But either way; when it all comes down, I would love to be there in Jerusalem to see it!
