This is the most significant freedom/liberty issue currently on the table.

Those who submit to this are leading humanity toward slavery.

And I'm not talking some kind of religious issue. I'm simply speaking to the obvious long-term results of such technology.

It will be abused. "Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely."

I agree. Apart for all the theological "end times" stuff we could get into, this seems to me to be ripe for "identity" theft and abuse. I think people need to think hard and long about this (which they won't do). It sound cool and neat. Having your medical records in one place is one thing. Having all your information in the palm of your hand is a little bit more scarier. Personally I like my stuff being a little bit convoluted.

I agree completely.

The tyrants want to monitor and control every aspect of our lives.

This will only lead to mandatory dog tags for soldiers, licenses for drivers, bank account numbers etc. The horror.

"CityWatcher.com"

Curious. Can anyone find out who the chairman is and his political contributions? My best is he is a Democrat.

They will probably want to do this to gun owners first.
