Just say NO, to the Senior Senator from the Media.

The President of the Media is offended by your demotion of him.

McCain can go to hell.

My sentiments exactly. He is unstable and unsuitable to be President. I cannot and will not vote for this back stabber.

Well then he's nuts. There is no way I will support him. George Allen is my man right now.

>> It will be a cold day in hell before I praise LIEberman for anything! I don't recall praising King either. <<

Well, as I noted, roughly HALF the freepers on this board who vowed to "never forget" the politicians who saved Clinton's butt are now heaping praise on Loserman and Peter King. You and I are obviously part of the other half, but go on current thread about Pete King and Joe Loserman and I gurantee you, 90% of the replies will be gushing with approval. Compare that to 1999 when everyone on this board vowed to defeat 'em.

The GOP must understand if they nominate McLame millions will stay home on election day.

The GOP must understand that hardcore conservatives are sucicidal idiots and would much prefer Hillary in the White House even if it means she gets to pick Supreme Court nominations.

"Don't call me, McCain. I have a long memory."

Exactly...

Conservatives have a long memory. McCain will never be the Republican nominee for one simple reason.

"On February 28 (2000) in Virginia, the home state of Moral Majority founder Jerry Falwell and Christian Coalition founder Pat Robertson, McCain launched a vicious attack on these "self-appointed leaders" of the Christian right. McCain called them "agents of intolerance" and described the two men as the right-wing equivalent to "Louis Farrakhan and Al Sharpton".

The next day McCain suffered major losses in Republican presidential contests in the states of Washington, Virginia and North Dakota. Exit polling showed that conservative Christians played a major role in McCain's defeat. Less than two weeks later McCain suspended his campaign."

In a general election, McCain would mosty likely beat Hillary. While he may not be a top choice, he's certainly better than Hilly.

If a lifetime ACU rating of 83 over 22 years makes McCain a liberal, hardcore conservatives ill just marginalize themselves out of elected positions just as hardcore liberal/leftsist have.

Every Freeper should begin every day reminding themseleves that the country is not nearly as conservative as they are. Once people come to grips with that, the rest becomes much easier.

Otherwise what the the threshold for liberal? An ACU rating of 85 or less? 90? Keep it real, true believers, or maginalize yourself for a very long time.

"Every Freeper should begin every day reminding themseleves [sic] that the country is not nearly as conservative as they are."

In 2004 Bush won 97 of the 100 fastest growing counties in the US, with a 1.7 million vote edge in those 100 -- regardless of when they set their alarm clocks.

If Arizona can do better than McCain -- and they can -- then McCain has no business in the White House.

..your post combined with the NRLC link on #56 should just about do it for anyone who is even remotely considering McCain.

..he simply is not wired right...

..bitter, twisted, profane, and mean-spirited...

Whoever are the Republican nominees in 2008, I hope they don't have anything to do with Haliburton. I'm so tired of lefties whining about it.

"If you decide to torture him, you probably don’t get the right information because torture doesn’t work."
"Eventually, I gave them my ship's name and squadron number, and confirmed that my target had been the power plant."
Newsweek: If Al Qaeda had hidden a nuclear bomb in New York and a suspect involved in the plot had been captured.

"You do what you have to do," said McCain.

If it's between Cap'n McQueeg and Hillary, 2008 will be a tough year. Let's hope someone takes John out in the primaries, or it could harm the GOP as a party for a long time.

McCain has joined Christie Whitman's PAC and is on her board of directors. Her platform......ridding the country of christian conservatives and electing moderates.

She's for partial birth abortion, gay marriage, and objected to parental notification for minors to get abortions when she was governor of NJ.

Tell me again about how conservative McCain pretends to be.

BTW, Jack Danforth is also on the same Board with Whitman.
