Cindy Sheehan has used the death of her son, Casey, to launch a far-Left political campaign against President Bush and the military missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, Americans will here from mothers and fathers who lost a son or daughter in Iraq who have a very different story to tell.
From 4:00-6:00 PM Pacfic// 7:00-9:00 PM Eastern, the "Gold Star Families to Iraq - They Didn't Die in Vain" program will be simulcasted on 3 different radio stations, and streamed to computers around the nation via 2 Internet streams.
The program, "Gold Star Families to Iraq - They Didn't Die in Vain" will send Gold Star family members (who lost a loved on in the war against terrorism) to Iraq to see first hand the progress that is being made there. These family members will be able to show their support for the troops still fighting in Iraq, and they'll be able to tell the world the reality of the progress being made in Iraq which isn't always reported in the mainstream media.
Reports in the media have already begun to appear, like this story that appeared in the Santa Barbara News Press.

I think they meant 'will HEAR from mothers.......'
Pings to ya.
Here here!
This is a pretty powerful message.
These families show how great Americans really are, especially to show that most of the gold star families hate the false image created by Cindy Sheehan in the pursuit of her left wing, anti-American diatribes.
Streaming KRLA now...
To top it off you've got Melanie Morgan of KSFO - San Francisco. Lots of different people (normally competitors I guess) coming together for a good cause. I like to see that!

You mean not all Gold Star Families praise the terrorists and hang out with dictator Hugo Chavez?
Here we go...
The gold star families have been great in understanding that this is a war with terrorists who won't stop until western civilization is destroyed. They know their lost loved ones were fighting so we can enjoy the freedoms we have.
It is critical that we support our troops AND their mission.
Having the gold star families go to Iraq is so powerful. Everyone should get behind this and make a contribution as well as listening to the broadcast, which I just tuned in myself.
Good luck. I am sure Americans will respond positively.
The first Gold Star mother has already spoken, Deborah Argel, and she is a great patriot. She's the person in the news story I linked up to up there.
And now Ms. Argel is back on. She's a WAAAAAY classier lady than Cindy Sheehan.
She was terrific.
She even took a mild shot at Cindy Sheehan. I was surprised. But she was very tactful.
And ironically, Joseph Williams, another Gold Star parent is from Cindy Sheehan's hometown - Vacaville, California.
Yes. Joseph is who I was talking about. I'm going to contribute 300.00
The public seems to forget that every single member of the military is a VOLUNTEER.
Most of the young men and women in Iraq enlisted AFTER 9/11 because they wanted to serve and protect their country.
They are all heroes -- each and every last one of them.\
The Cindy Sheehan's should be embarassed over their conduct when compared to the gold star families who are supporting our troops and their mission.
It's odd that so far more Northern Californians have contributed than Southern Californians.
