Other downtown employees saw the new details as a political move by Bush to "keep us living in fear" and garner support for the war on terrorism.
"It's a travesty.... I mean, we've caught him lying so many times," said Mark Lea, who works at a major law firm in the Wells Fargo building next door. "He's only doing this to draw up support for his domestic spying."
Patrick Grover, who works on the tower's 2nd floor, agreed.
"I'm not alarmed [by the threats]," Grover said. "I'm alarmed that they're exploiting it years later."
Grover called Bush's announcement "malarkey," criticizing the president for supposedly setting up a "smokescreen" now that the administration's spying policies are under attack.

Many Californians don't believe there's a war on, or that rogue elements of the Islamic Caliphate attacked us on 9/11.
"W" probably should have let one of the planned attacks take place, but not in LA ~ more like in San Francisco.

When a nuclear device goes off in L.A. during President Hillary's reign, I hope they're the first to go. Hey, It's only a "smokescreen" anyway!

I wouldn't know why terrorist would target LA anyway, they kill themselves off without help now.

The "questionable timing" spin machine is running full tilt and coming to a network evening newscast near you, if you can stomach watching it.
I'm glad to see the administration going on the offense against the leaking wannabe princes of the Senate.

Lisa Cyrus, an employee on the building's 16th floor, said she would have quit her job had she known there was such a threat to the building when she started working for FTI Consulting in 2002. "I would've gotten another job," said Cyrus, who added that she was already nervous when she was working next door at the Wells Fargo building during the Sept. 11 attacks.
Job? where would she get one of those??? According to the MSM the economy stinks!!!

""It's a travesty.... I mean, we've caught him lying so many times," said Mark Lea, who works at a major law firm in the Wells Fargo building next door." So here's a little bit of LA Times propaganda. Note that they explicitly mention where Mark Lea works...but they don't tell you is that he's not an attorney (see link below).
They could have just said that "Mark Lea works in the Wells Fargo building next door," but no, they went out of their way to allude to a law firm (i.e. an attempt to give Mark more credibility than he deserves on a *legal* opinion such as "domestic spying" or "Bush lying").

"A lib attorney calling Bush a liar? That's hilarious." See post #14. The LA Times wrote their propaganda in such a way as to make Mark Lea appear to be an attorney, but he's not.

What an F'in' idiot! They haven't caught "him" lying at all. This asinine fool would rather LA be attacked then even begin to look at the real threat.

Since no one has "caught" "W" lying any times at all, his statement simply demonstrates that this Mark Lea guy is so totally out of touch.

That's just the July 2005 California Bar pass list. If "Mark Lea" passed the bar before July 2005, his name wouldn't be on it.
I think you're probably right that he's not a lawyer, though. If he were, the L.A. Times likely would have said it.
