This was just another picture/event where black leaders as well as white liberal politicians have used others/circumstances to further their cause. African Americans in this country should be embarrassed and outrage that this continues to happen. They are being used....

Thanks, all.

I don't usually call in the 'troops' but I didn't take too kindly to this boy saying I had no connection with the military. Thanks for the back up.

Beyond that, he's definitely not worth any more of my time......

I wish the King family hadn't chosen to show that video footage from Coretta's makeover on Oprah's show.

"Her husband was an American leader "

Her husband was a black version of Bill Clinton.
I have to think that she probably had a lot more class then MLK.

I added "(whether you like it or not)" to that comment. A very significant omission in your quote.

We don't have to agree with what he is rumored to have done morally to recognize his significance in American history.

That was my point.

And I guarantee that she had more class than any Dem on that platform claiming to 'honor her' at her funeral.....

Went back and re-read the article. Guess I didn't phrase it right.

Nice homepage.

Yes,yes, yes, yes, yes, someone has the spine to tell it like it is. Everything you say is true and has been documented
The King family has been at one another's throat for yrs. over
money. Several years ago, one of the big three networks did an
article on the above post. Thank you for the post, lets look at the true aspects of this funeral and, the whole King family.

Yes, because he is a real Christian who shows his faith in every action and doesn't just spout the words they so often do. It's okay to say you're a Christian and good person to these people, but don't really BE one.

It's the fact that they are all about moral relativism and refuse to acknowledge that there is a good and an evil. His conviction tramples all over their inability to take a stand.

I thank God is our President at this time.

I think there is a difference in turning the other cheek personally and turning the other cheek when you lead a nation. Our President has shown that as a man, he is quite able to turn the other cheek, embrace his enemies and pray for his persecutors. As President, he is committed to facing down our enemies and protecting our people. While probably still praying for his enemies.

I agree that the socialists in this country would prefer it not to be that way and that is why we must do all we can to keep them out of power. It seems to me that they would turn the other cheek to national enemies - and slap down people who personally are against them. Sort of a perversion of what my faith teaches me, actually.

Thank you! I have so much admiration for him - as a President, as a Christian, as a husband and father. No matter what happens in the next three years, he has already proven himself to be a decent and honorable man in my eyes and I feel fortunate to have been an American under his leadership - so I guess that comes across.

Until "W", Ronald Reagan was my favorite President ever, but now he has to share top billing! I'm also a Lincoln fan, and have good feelings about Teddy! And, not to upset the apple cart, but I think highly of JFK - not so much in the honorable department (although at least he was discreet) but in the way he stood up to communism. He must roll daily in his grave when he hears Ted Kennedy bloviate.

I agree. Bush's demeanor when Gore walked over to him during the Presidential debates impressed me. It's hard to fake demeanor in a situation like that. And, I'd guess, it's next to impossible to fake that demeanor for 5 years.
