Your constant harping about a totally harmless song from 34 years ago has to be the silliest ranting I've ever seen on any thread anywhere

Well then given your above opinion, you are basically saying that anything that Charlie Daniels sings or writes(such as the article which this thread is based on) is harmless(i.e meaningless).

Well, given your silence on the lack of enforcement provisions, you are basically saying that the Kyl/Cornyn proposal isn't worth the paper on which it's written.

If defending it was a worthwhile endeavor, you would be doing so with as much vigor as you've shown for attacking a 1972 Charlie Daniels song.

You really need to stop attacking the messenger, especially when they're correct as Daniels is. If open borders is so wonderful as you believe then tell us why. Oh and btw it would be helpful if before you start advocating for a massive guest worker program like Kyl/Cornyn you read it first.
