I was a freshman in college, and I recall that in the Student Union cafeteria, a bunch of American students surrounded a group of Iranian students and wouldn't let them leave. No one got arrested, but it made the college paper. We need more of that today.
Most Iranians that I have met here are anti-Islamist. The women don't even wear chadors. I do agree, however, that we need to be very suspicious of "foreign students" from certain counties.
