Yesterday a victory celebration/parade was held in honor of the Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl win. Lynn Swann, in his capacity as former Steeler and Hall of Famer, was one of the emcee's for the event. When Mr. Swann first arrived at the mike, the crowd of thousands assembled in Pittsburgh's Gateway Center started spontaneously chanting 'Governor, Governor.' Swann smiled and said 'this day is about the Black and Gold...' Our current Governor, democrat 'Fast Eddie' Rendell was in attendance...but decided to view the proceedings from the upper floor of a local office building rather than share the stage with Mr. Swann. Bill Scranton, Swann's opposition in the Republican primary, dropped out of the race yesterday, so Swann has the Republican nomination in the bag. Great news about Ohio as well.

"Not for the black of their skin, but for their values."
Lynn Swann is a person of great character. I do appreciate his style and grace, but what is his platform?
