Posted on 02/06/2006 6:08:53 AM PST by ken5050
Good Monday morning, once again, fellow political jinkies. The NFL season may be over, but the political season inside the Beltway is 24/7/365. So join us, if you can, as those wacky Dems on the Senate Judiciary committee reprise their pitiful efforts to once again smear President Bush and score political points..

FISA would be the statute used for domestic surveillance....
To: Peach
Interesting answer from Gonzales... "not with the program I'm testifying about today...".
Meaning there are other programs out there that are doing domestic surveillance? That'll get the dems knickers in a twist (assuming they were listening.)
Also implying Congress can't keep secrets. Ha!

Screaming moonbats are a sign that RATS are losing their argument. They lost the argument the moment they opened up their yappers about the legalities and Constitutionality of spying on your enemies.

"Kohl: If you would listen to AQ to AQ outside the country but not AQ to AQ within the country, that is unfathonable.
Gonzales: We try to get that information other ways. "
That's the key. The AG is not saying AQ to AQ communications are not being monitored, he is just saying it is not happening under this particular program. Of course law enforcement is attempting to the best of their ability to monitor those communications...most likey through the FBI and standard warrant process. What? Now the Dems want warrantless surveillence of all domestic communications?

typical unhinged liberal. Exactly, they can't win in the arena of ideas or common sense, so they go with all they have, emotional outbursts.

Did you see the article about Rabbi Arthur Waskow, director of The Shalom Center, called Cindy "a prophet" when she let drop her pearls of wisdom there?
