Good Monday morning, once again, fellow political jinkies. The NFL season may be over, but the political season inside the Beltway is 24/7/365. So join us, if you can, as those wacky Dems on the Senate Judiciary committee reprise their pitiful efforts to once again smear President Bush and score political points..

"Wiretapping terrorist phone lines is illegal" is right next to "Women have a right to an abortion" in the Constitution, according to the DUmmies.

I thought Gonzales was not making the argument under FISA at all! The argument is in the Dec. 22 letter, it's in the whitepaper, and Gonzales made it orally today.

She said at the time there was no law for it so then the Constitution Trumps and since there wasn't an AUMF Gorelick broke the law.

This is about creating legislation to hamper our efforts in fighting AQ here and elsewhere. Church Hearings Redux.
Excuse me, but did DiFi just give a chapter and verse list of some of the things they do? Why is she telling all this stuff on national TV.
Wow, that's quite an accusation she's making.

They want to get power back and do not care whether we are protected from antoher attack. Sean Hannity is going to make some comments about Specter today. Specter seems to be in bed with Schummer, Feinstein, Biden and Leahy today.
I do not trust Specter. Specter never works well within the Republican Party.

Just switched over to CSPAN2 just in time to hear Harry Reid claim that if asbestos litigation reform passes, the corporations win and veterans lose!

It's a shame that our fine military has to go to hell-hole parts of the world, put their lives on the line and fight for the likes of these sorry-a$$ed Democrats.

Oh...okay...I didn't watch Durbin much...thanks for the information..
Maybe in the back of Gonzalez' mind is the "leak"...in that...if it WAS one of those NSA people...he didn't want to give a blanket thumbs up.

I know it is.....but you need to understand these creatures on the SJC are politicans above all else...those folks tend to be risk aversive....they won't risk pulling the funds...god forbid we are attacked after that happens they might get blamed.

Hey DiFi ... The reason you and the JC weren't briefed is because YOU CAN'T BE TRUSTED WITH CLASIFIED NATIONAL SECURITY INFORMATION

I agree with your take on all three...
BUT, wouldn't you consider the FIRST one the most important anyway??

This is about creating legislation to hamper our efforts in fighting AQ here and elsewhere. They're ashamed that America is leading the effort to snuff out terrorism wherever it exists.
