Hmmm...A team with absolutely NO PENALTIES in an entire game? Something was very foul in the referee contingent IMHO. The SeaHawks were awesome and there was no way their touchdown should have been taken from them. At any ate, we'll be back next year. Go Hawks! And good job Steelers on those fake outs and the interception. The worst part was watching our illigitimate governor being interviewed. (Which explains why I am online instead of watching TV) LOL

Just got back in. That was a disgusting call as was a hold on us and NO holds on them - a couple of which were so obvious. I'm disappointed we lost the game, but I could have dealt w being disappointed if I had felt we lost fairly. Without the bogus calls and the non-calls that should have been called, it would have been a much closer game.
I still love my Seahawks and we'll be in Miami next year!

The shehawks are in the softest division in the NFL. So they were handed a third of their games on a platter.
They couldn't run tonight. Their passing game was so-so.
The bad calls went both ways -- they were just badly timed for the shehawks.
See you in superbowl XC.

Tell me about it. I've been a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan. And I still remember getting hosed by eagle-eyed Fred Swearingen on the pass interference call against Benny Barnes. That still sticks in my throat. That's why Dallas' win in SB 30 was so sweet. We got our "one for the thumb" against them, instead of the other way around. They have joined San Francisco and Dallas with five wins each.

if it wasn't fixed, and i really do think it was, then i wont watch it because they don't have competent officials.

"Something was funky with this game."
The refs read the papers, and know who is "supposed" to win the game. This unconsciously affects their calls, and thus ticky-tack calls go against the team that is not supposed to win. In this case, that team was the Seahawks, and the game was close enough that those ticky-tack calls were absolutely critical.
To: Libertina
LOL.....you gave me one good reason to be less upset at the Seahawks being cheated out of their win!!!
Your 'cheating' governor.

Just got home. Congratulations Pittsburgh Steelers. You made the big plays and Seattle didn't. A few thoughts...
1. The commercials stunk again this year.
2. Seattle's defense didn't just bend...they broke at three critical times which cost them the game.
3. Jeremy Stevens owes his teammates an apology not for his comments earlier in the week but for all the passes he dropped.
4. Seattle's clock management at the end was almost if not just as bad as the Eagles last year.
5. If Big Ben doesn't throw that INT midway through the 3rd this game is a blowout.
6. Next year's AFC champion should automatically be at least a touchdown favorite in next year's Super Bowl.

Ha! You nailed it! Very well said!! :)

So which team was it that had no penalties?
To: Libertina
Careful Lib they did get penalties. the Stillers false started three times in their first two drives, because the "Steeler home crowd" at Ford Field didn't know when to shut up. Typical.
