See my earlier post #942 to you. As I tried to explain, chances were very good that Terri would have been able to swallow just fine, if only staff were allowed to take the time to feed her. When it comes to "safely", remember the goal was to kill her.

It is not enough to call on high and lofty medical experts to declare she couldn't swallow. That was my point. We proved the opposite in our case. Terri just wasn't that bad off as so many wished. It took a lot for them to kill her.

If swallowing was as dangerous as Dr. Thogmartin (the ME) has suggested, Michael made a half-million dollar mistake in not allowing mouth feeding for Terri. She would have aspirated some food and died of aspiration pneumonia. She could have been killed by one bite of Poitrine de Poulet aux Noix Pecan or broccoli or Captain Crunch. Then Michael saves the half million bucks he paid Felos and Bushnell to kill Terri. Plus he saves years and years of treatment costs, cat killing fees, insulin, etc.
