Of course, "famous" does not imply unusual size. These things are pretty much alike, except Brits' are just a bit smaller, if I heard right.

The thief would need a pair to make cuff links, just one for a tie tack.

More on Haleigh.....I am glad to note Haleigh has a fine attorney as T'wit pointed out. The attorney is up against a formidable foe, a bureaucracy which claims exclusive ownership of Haleigh. Denise Monteiro, owner extraordinaire, of course would not let Haleigh's mother visit on her birthday.

Ownership means more than sentimental attachments the bureaucrats cannot understand anyway.

Officials would not comment on Poutre's condition during her birthday celebration yesterday but released a statement: ''Franciscan Hospital for Children loves to join our patients in celebrating their birthdays. As a pediatric hospital, we understand how important birthdays are for kids, as well as providing an opportunity for fun and happy feelings that can be an important part of treatment."

Yeah, right..

Implications that the attorney didn't do her job, I guess.

Haleigh turns 12, but Mom wasn't invited

And now the head of a child welfare agency comes to the rescue of the (hopefully to be more notorious) DSS...

We see, it isn't the fault of DSS. If only the were able to properly place Haleigh in the first place they wouldn't have needed to try to kill her, or whatever.

The wrong way to reform child welfare

Maybe I am just getting the wrong impression and I hope somebody will set me straight if so.
