What is this photo from? It looks like George Bush with some dude who looks like the stereotypical image of Ghengis Khan. Is this a photoshop job? Or is this for real?
At least I'll bet W knows how to pronounce it...
Might be from when he went to Mongolia a few months ago.

It's basically a real photo of Bush witha true Genghis Khan type. Other freepers can give better details, but I remember this original thread and this photo is from Pres. Bush's visit to Mongolia, one of the better of the emerging democracies, if I may be so un-PC as to say one is better than another.
For real - the first American president to visit Mongolia last fall. The people were thrilled and gave him and Laura a fantastic welcome. Of course, American media did not think it was interesting enough to put on TV.
It's real.
lol!

The Mongolians invaded Baghdad and trounced the Muslims centuries ago
There is also a myth that Gesar of Ling will lead the forces of enlightenment to trounce the Muslims again prior to a period of unprecedented world peace. The myth is associated with the Kalachakra Tantra and is part of the popular culture of Mongolia and other Himalayan cultures. I saved the press photo because of the meaning it had to many of these Asian peoples.
Thought you might like it. Its really a pic of two cowboys. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c355/Candor7/1d717f58.jpg
