Speaking of Hill, I went to the fox site to see if they had a poll up. Got side-tracked reading some of the comments, here's one I especially liked for a oouple of reasons:

"I think the speech was wonderful. I am so thankful that the president always remembers to thank our troops and our fallen heroes. I met the president at Ft. Bragg and he promised me that we would not pull out of Iraq until the job is done, so that my son would have not lost his life in vain. He always continues to keep that promise. He had me in tears. It amazes me how the democrats can make such fools of themselves. There was one shot of Hillary Clinton rolling her eyes. What a wonderful president she would be!" Pat

It is only a pyrrhic victory for them. They will lose the war.

Weird Howard is in the political fight of his life. If he goes yard on what he is alleged to have on Harry Reid, all the "culture of corruption" rot will blow up in the Dems face.
The same can be said for John Skerry. If his campaign can't get traction, he will be the one who releases the unredacted version of the Barrett Report. If that happens the Dem party will split in such a way as to never be repaired.

By passing these reforms, we will save the American taxpayer another 14 billion dollars next year and stay on track to cut the deficit in half by 2009. I am pleased that Members of Congress are working on earmark reform because the Federal budget has too many special interest projects. And we can tackle this problem together, if you pass the line-item veto. Bump!!!!!!!

DSA is the US political arm of the Socialist International. The House Progressive Caucus was founded by Bernie Sanders, and it is affiliated with the DSA. Its members are all Democrats (except Sanders).
