Frist and Co. aren't going to get blindsided. This business of a filibuster is a political non-starter for the Democrats.

I admit I get a laugh out of you "glass half empty" conservatives though.

This kind of thing goes way back in John "did you know I served in 'Nam" Kerry's character.

Remember that he ran the other way when the boats were attacked, then came back when it was all over and claimed to be the big hero of the fight

I warned Frist's office in an e-mail that the Filibuster is heating up and that he needs to invoke the nuclear option if by some odd reason the Dems get enough votes for it.

Hey, now: I'm not pessimistic - just cautiously optimistic - and not very trusting of the other side. Big difference. Perhaps you've forgotten how many times Congressional Dems have shaken Republican hands only to stick the knife in after they turn their backs.
