With friends like the "insurgents", who needs enemies?
Gee, what a shame.... ahhh, that a left-wing journalist was attacked that is. And from those nice extremist insurgent freedom fighters no less. Gee, the left-wing media has given them every bit of help they possibly can!
And I read that Brian Williams praying for him??? "Brian Williams said he had been in touch with Woodruff's family and is praying for the families of both men". Really. How does a left-wing atheist pray, just out of curiousity? In the name of Jesus? Naw, that would be too inflamatory and offensive to other religions. Maybe he prays in Allah's name or in the name of the Great Divine One if He Really Exists!!!
I personally feel that about 5000 other liberal/left-wing MSM should flood the country right now and search diligently for the "insurgent freedom fighters" in order to understand them better. sarc>
CNN just had on their resident Dr. who said he thinks the reports are that shrapnel didn't penetrate their brains. So that's the good news. He said if they were awake and talking, the hospital would have said so...but if they were still on breathing machines, this would explain that. Still in serious condition. Vogt, the cameraman has a broken shoulder, as well.
Watching Imus. Press conference coming up. I assume from Germany. MSNBC will cover.

This is unfortunate for these two men and I wish them the best, but what about the brave men and women of the armed forces that suffer this every day? You don't see the crying and gnashing of teeth for them on the networks.
Yikes! The enemy are eating their own!
Support the Press, Bring them Home!!
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
Just a thought, but does anyone know if the military personnel in the vehicle are okay? Surprising you do not hear about them.
All but ignored in the "noise" was the poignant and extraordinarily sensitive statement of Bob Woodruff's wife Lee: "We realize that our family is going through something that thousands of military families have experienced over the last three years since the war began and throughout our history. Bob's name may be more recognizable, but his story is no more important. He would be the first to insist that the attention should be focused on the members of the U.S. military whose heroic actions he has reported on for years."
Lee Woodruff has it exactly right.

God bless Lee Woodruff for providing us with this info. I would like to retract my negative statements and deeply apologize to the Woodruff family. I wish I could say the same for the rest of the MSM.
I could only wish that Bob Woodruff in the past on ABC news not paint Cindy Sheehan actions as heroic.
