Um, no it was her son (that did not agree with her) that paid the ultimate price. Would she have aborted her son if she knew he wouldn't follow her politics? Would that have been her choice? Presidential powers have nothing to do with it. It will simply revert to the states and their voters. This is one of the reasons why I have converted from democrat to independent (and coming close to becoming a broken glass republican.) Where are the Zell Millers in the party that will stand up to this stupidity?

i just heard a segment on wolfy's sish u a shun program that Cindy Sheehan made a public announcement that she will run against DiFi if she doesn't come out in support of a filibuster...
now i understand why DiFi flip flopped on this... that explains it!
The very idea that Cindy Sheehan would be considered a threat to Difi's re-election is interesting, specifically interesting that Difi considers her a potential threat.
the report did say that Difi came out with her announcement to support a filibuster before Cindy Sheehan made her announcement.
