A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos): 1.25.06

Our American president went to the National Security Agency in Ft. Meade, Maryland, to speak with staff and address the press there. Click here for text of his remarks. He also spoke with former clerks of Judge Alito's.

Laua Bush oversaw the "Coming Up Taller Awards" in the White House, an initiative of the U.S. President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities overseen by the first lady. This is for after-school events that promote the arts in youth.

Great Dose Gretchen! Thank you. Hugh Hewett had an interview with Donald Rumsfield on a short time ago on his radio show. He did great as usual!

as much as our Dubya is a man of a thousand facial expressions we all love, Rummy is a man of untold hand/arm expressions

It wasn't the meds - I was loopy from those just cause I don't take muscle relaxers more than a couple times a year. The headache was from the muscle spasms in my neck. The pain was traveling up from my neck, over the top of my head and smacking me between the eyes! I have a new arthritis med I started this morning that knocked the headache down quite a bit.

CNN has released its latest Gallup poll showing that 51 percent of voters say they will not vote for Hillary if she runs for president. I believe it said only 19 percent said they would for certain vote for Hillary. I think it also said 21 percent of Democrats did not support her for president.

I think the Democratic Base has real problems with Hillary..

Click here for the 'tator take on Hillary and 2008

I know the media paints a dirty picture of President Bush and Republicans in general. I don't think the public is buying it. I can't think of a reason for CNN to slant a poll to make Hillary look bad. Can you?

Perhaps the poll explains Hillary's recent turn to the left.

I can't see it!! I tried making it show, but it won't! It must be a great pic with all those exclaimation points!

The family is going through some serious gyrations - hubby no job, nana in nursing home, cousin recovering from bad accident in foreign country, two deaths, brother-in-law in hospital for bad infection. Kids are great and beautiful!! And my step-mother is doing okay so far with radiation for lung cancer. (Phew!)

That's great, GEM .. I'm so happy for you. I've never done it with the processed type, so it's good to know it's still effective for sinus. I'll definitely remember that. How do you compare the strength and taste of the processed kind, and how much fresh lemon juice did you mix in ... same consistency?

Hugh Hewitt is going to re-run the SecDefRum interview later, at least that's what I understand (I have his show on internet stream).

Hi everyone... just checking in for a quick look at today's Dose!

It's a lot stronger using the processed horseradish. I use 1 teaspoon (serving spoon, not regular unit measure) and a fat tip of a teaspoon for the h.radish. It tastes ghastly. If I could gag it down more than once a day, I would do that. I'm trying to work myself up to 2 t. a day.

Close. It was only 16 percent who said they definitely would vote for her. The 51 percent is good news though. It's nice that the American people have already recognized we don't need another Clinton presidency.
