Doesn't seem to be any foul play, negligence, or criminal intent, but it's still a tragedy.

Hmmm... I'm not buying this one. I hope the cops interview this family a few more times about what happened.

Sad, the sad part if on top of the parents grief there will probably be a lynching mob going after the parents inventing some outrageous reason it was their fault.

Sad business. I see that the breed was not mentioned, so it's probably not a pit bull.
Poor parents. How will they forgive themselves?

Good idea. Maybe, just maybe she got zapped by a ray from one of them there black helicopters and the scarf is a diversionary tactic ordered by Karl Rove.

I don't know why the dog was taken to the animal shelter unless the family is way too grief stricken to deal with it. I hope it gets a home since this does not seem to be a vicious act.

True. Not everything is somebody's fault. It's an imperfect world, and it's lousy, but sometimes bad things happen. And there's nothing in the world we can do about it, except learn to deal with it as best we can.
