And I dispute the good intentions.
I'm positive all 28 of those bullets listed is a red herring.
Absolutely no on can convince me that Robert Fourdraine of the Netherlands was concerned about whether there was a cookie or an apple in my kids lunch bag.
The (fill in the blank) program is a nice nice sell to get the data.
Just a little reminder, if you will, that you child is on the hefty side and please try to watch his weight.
I give it a couple years and then the Child Protective Agencies will remove overweight children from their parents arms on the grounds of abuse.
The powers that be started this with good intentions. Oh my god, there are so many overweight children these days. Perhaps the poor parents can't afford a scale. Well, we will help them out and weigh their children at school!!! Let's all give ourselves a soft, caring, kindness pat on our backs for doing this. Wow, we all feel so much better about ourselves for being so empathetic.
Two years later - dang, these kids still don't look like the kids on Nickolodean - some of them are still overweight. Those parents don't care, they are neglecting them. Call CPS!!!!
Ever see a do-gooder program that was ever reversed, eliminated? No it gets more and more complicated, more governmental employees are hired and guess what - our taxes go up.
Same people who declare to the heavens that women have a right to their own body and to murder their unborn children find that it's different with everything else.
I'm getting on a rant and my blood pressure is rising now. I understand your point at disputing good intentions. I think alot of it is too dang many people with too much time on their hands and new computers.
