There will still be blue pockets in Canada - the big cities (especially Toronto) for one...
I hate the terms "red state" and "blue state" as they ignore geographic splits and urban-rural divisions in those states...
Oh, I know, and I'm not overly fond of the terms, especially since "blue" has usually been used for right leaning parties and "red" for left leaning parties.
But I still wanna see Michael Moores look when he's told that:
A) there are a lot of conservatives in Canada
and
B) They are in in charge of the place...
I'm sure he will be extremly miserable...
Actually it's the other way around here- Liberal red, Tory Blue.
Be careful with the red/blue labels for Canadian ridings. THey aren't the same as in the U.S. The Liberal party is traditionally red and the Conservatives are Blue with the NDP being orange. The greens are, well, green, and I don't know the color for the BQ.
