Bad call by Holmgren, especially with wind swirling as it is.
Stats (so far):
First downs: Seattle 14, Carolina 2
Rushing yards: Seattle 100, Carolina 6
Passing yards: Seattle 152, Carolina 45
A thorough annihilation on the stat sheet, but far from over on the scorecard.

First of all, you have absolutely NO IDEA what you're talking about (re: Smith being a drama queen). Smith shuts up when he gets frustrated. In fact, the press has made a big deal about how difficult it was for them to get him to talk this week.
Even if for a second, I was to concede that he WAS a drama queen, you mean to tell me that you've never seen Terrell Owens??????

alright steve, if your going to do all that whining on the sideline then you need to be making those catches over the middle!
To: Mr. Mojo
I'll take that first half. One more just like it in the Super Bowl please.

Well, it's Hawks 20, Officials 7, Panthers 0. I'd like to see Seattle win after watching Steve Smith pull that "boat-rowing" stunt when they beat my Vikings this season.
I'd have loved to see another score before half. 13 is a dangerous number, but obviously I'd much rather have it in my favor as your team does.

All I can say is....if the Super Bowl is as unexciting as these playoff games...they sponsors are gonna be hurting...
because there will be millions of people NOT in Pittsburgh or Seattle that will tune OUT...

Whoo Hoo! One-half down and one to go. Fingers crossed and prayers up!
The old song by the Pointer Sisters just popped into my mind:
I'm so excited,
I just can't hide it
I'm about to lose control
and I just can't fight it
Whoo Hoo!
OK - Scotch time

Good luck to your team in the future. Sorry, took a heck of a lot of flack from Denver and Seattle fans on some Steeler threads where they were very rude. I actually like the Broncos, but somebody had to lose.

Holgren is feeling like he's playing a hot hand. He IS despite that missed FG...
Total dominance by the Hawks. OR total ineptitude by the Panthers.
Hard to believe this is the same team that reduced the Giants to a Midget League team, but I wouldn't count 'em out either.

Re: "so is the general concensus this game is over as the thgread has turned to Chuck Norris and award shows?"
Looks that way...
BTW you tagline should read: Drink your beer, damnit! There are robots still sober!
AND Chuck Norris does not hunt because the word hunting implies the probability of failure. Chuck Norris goes killing.

Gary Kubiak is SMART for not waiting any longer to take a Head coaching job...I know that he has been waiting for the Denver job to open up...but, considering they almost went to the Super Bowl with JAKE PLUMMER as the QB...
I doubt that they are gonna be changing coaches any time soon.
