Schiavo's Sister: U.S. Doesn't Value Life

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- The sister of Terri Schiavo said Saturday that her family's failed court struggle to keep the brain-damaged woman alive shows a society that has "lost sight of the value" of human life.

Suzanne Vitadamo said her sister did not want to die and was not terminal when she died after her feeding tube was removed in March. Schiavo's husband, Michael, had a court order to remove the tube.

If America valued life, then the Constitution wouldn't be urinated on, ignored and obfuscated at every turn, including our lack of a will to stop the Criminal Invasion on America's southern border.

Judging from the mass media, the U.S. does value human life.

But it is the lives of the muderers and other criminals that they value.

They have nothing but contempt for the lives of the innocent.

Christian Post newsfeed: Suzanne was in Little Rock, Arkansas

In Little Rock Arkansas, hundreds joined in at the State Capitol on Sunday despite cold and wet weather. The protest there has been held every year since the Roe decision. Participants included State Governor Mike Huckabee and Suzanne Vitadamo, sister of Terri Schiavo whose death through starvation and dehydration by court order was the subject of much controversy last year.

Noting that armchair quarterbacks who have no inkling of Terri's condition write the longest posts full of lies and discrepancies.

Show me a left wing republican and I'll show you fans of the incompetent and exceedingly cruel Judge Greer who was asked to leave Calvary Baptist Church.

What's that commandment again? Oh, yeah, Thou Shalt Not Kill and by the way, Terri was alert and aware.

Left wing republicans make other republicans look bad.

An armed officer of the law was at Terri's bedside to make sure that her blood relatives kept their distance. Ice chip? Absolutely forbidden or mom would have been arrested. Terri's blood relatives had nothing with them as they were searched at "the checkpoint" by the sidewalk. If Michael Schiavo felt like denying them admittance, they would have to cross the street without seeing Terri.

Something's wrong in Amerika when a family has to show identification to pass a checkpoint to get into a death house that was occupied by the Pinellas Park PD, the Pinellas Cty Sheriff while Terri suffered greatly. They were in Hospice as well as surrounding the place and hiding in balconies with weapons.

Even terminal patients get ice chips for their cracked lips. Terri got nothing at all. Imagine the suffering.

Recovery? Terri was living her life. Albeit, she was forced to spend five years in a room and no time outside but she had a personality and everything.

Judge Greer made Terri's murder possible. Terri SCREAMED when she found out from her dad that the feeding tube was coming out. It's too bad the mainstream media missed the mark when they had opportunities last year to present the real Terri but it's easier to just read the teleprompter.

No cameras allowed though because if the world saw Terri, they'd know she was alert and aware and that her murder was being planned and carried out.

There were lots of control freaks making sure Terri was isolated and hidden.

"Terri was alive ..."

Her body was being kept alive by an artificial, surgically implanted feeding tube, without which she would have died.

... alert ..."

What? Where's your proof of that? A bomb could've gone off and she wouldn't have known it.

"... and remarkably healthy ..."

Yes. Michael took good care of her.

"... and was aware."

Of the five senses, she had ... none.

"Terri had a right to live."

No, she had a right to die. A right you and others denied.

YOU were the ones imposing YOUR will on hers. YOU decided that she must live, despite her clear wishes to the contrary.

"From what I saw, they just wanted to take care of their severely brain-damaged daughter for the rest of her life. They wanted her to be surrounded by loving family."

No mention by you of what Terri wanted. That doesn't count?

She wanted to die by dehydration. Yeah, that's it.

"She wanted to die by dehydration."

What does your Living Will say about that? Does it specify how you want to die?

Or does it simply outline the conditions under which you do not wish to be kept alive? Smart ass.

She had a right to determine the conditions under which she would not want to be artificially kept alive. Better?

Better as you wrote that, but note that providing water and nourishment to those incapable of providing it to themselves is NOT "being kept artifically alive". She has the right to refuse treatment, and even if conscious, free, and sane a right to refuse a feeding (feeding by feeding), but never does anyone have a "right to die".
