BALTIMORE -- A Circuit Court judge yesterday ruled that Maryland's 33-year-old ban on same-sex "marriage" is unconstitutional.
- snip -
"After much study and serious reflection, this court holds that Maryland's statutory prohibition against same-sex marriage cannot withstand this constitutional challenge," Judge Murdock said in her 22-page ruling. The law defining marriage as a union of a man and a woman violates the state constitution's Equal Rights Amendment, which guarantees "equality of rights under the law shall not be abridged or denied because of sex," the judge said.

PS, I go back to a time here, when you could have an honest disagreement and fight it out and meet again the next day. Now it seems that if you have a minority opinion, you are a liberal and others who can't counter your basic agrgument will run crying to the mods about this old troll who slipped by for years.
If you can't hang on a thread, you should pay attention and do some research; not run and call for the elders to help you.
There used to be many people on the homosexual threads who believed in freedom. Some of them won't come here because of the zealots who misrepresent, post bad research, and rain the venom of their posse down on anyone who disagrees. I chose evry now and them to stand and fight. My values are based upon my belief that other taxpayers have the right to pursue happeness and that you don't impose your sexuals morals upon them through government power.
I believe the owner knows we are well intended and he allows us to stay as long as we keep the mud slinging to a minimum. Plus how boring would it be if everyone agreed?

Thanx for the warning. I've been doing this since Aug 1998, but take your best shot.
I don't know what you were reading, but if you think I support any agenda other than freedom, you haven't been paying attention. Before you run off to Oregon, here's a suggestion. If you don't want your position disagreed with, just lurk.
I don't know why you're going to Oregon, but have a good trip.

You can suspect anything you want. I answered this issue before and now you want to show me as supporting this guys arrest. What next, blame me for WWII?
You're the second poster to play the child molestor card and try to put it in my hand. You need to read more, think, and post less. Nice try, but no cigar.

You may take the MSM tack and think that a bunch of conservatives will, by definition, put on robes and lynch blacks and gays if there aren't liberals around to prevent it. That is your right. But I've been on this site long enough to know that we don't gay-lovers telling us how to discuss issues and when we go too far.
It may surprise you, but unlike liberals, conservatives are perfectly capable of self-monitoring each other and keeping this site respectable.

You didn't object to his being arrested. That alone says enough to anyone that has two brain cells to rub together.

"You keep assuming I support the "agenda." I've told you dozens of time I don't. You are either a propagandist or you have a learning disability."
You are either consciously lying or have serious attention deficit problems.
Promoting homosexual marriage and all that it entails is the main weapon of the "gay" agenda at present.
You toss words around like "freedom" but you use them to represent their opposite meaning. Freedom is not synonymous with legalizing and normalizing sexual and pyschologocial dysfunction.

Correction...

"Some people here are so hateful of homosexuality they lump any good for homosexuals under an agenda which was written by some extremist. If you say anything that isn't negative then they label you "pro-agenda." This is a sophomoric propaganda technique. There is a world of difference between NAMBLA and gay marriage. But those who are malicious or lazy just go for the agenda slur."
You posted that crap after The statement by the founder of Free Republic was posted.
If you are calling Him an extremist, why the hell are you still here posting your queer agenda?

And that's exactly what the homosexuals are doing to America; trying to impose their sexual morals on society thorough government power. Instead of just minding their own business, they are trying to force the redefinition of marriage through the courts, and trying to force us to accept the homosexual lifestyle and admit that it is normal and moral; which it is not. This will ultimately result in the breakdown of the family and then society. The pursuit of happiness does not give one the right to do whatever one feels like. Every law on the books is someone imposing morals on someone else and it's done for the preservation of society. If everyone were able to do whatever pleases them, then the result would be anarchy. The *pursuit of happiness* does not trump all laws.

That is basically correct. FR is not a liberal debating society. I do not have to be fair to liberal opinions let alone have to read liberal propaganda parroted by trolls on FR.I agree.
There have been a few lately.

I'm very disgusted with the backing gays are getting from corporate america. Corporations are so concerned about hiring and so afraid of the ACLU and each other they are afraid to do anything but back gays.
