I think you all should relax.

Over-the-top comments like those coming out of Iran are meant for one thing, to test the international response, and grow internal moral among those who might otherwise fear that the U.S and Israel are about to blow them to bits.

The only time to fear an enemy is when they are not talking trash. Iran wants us to believe that they are ready to launch a Nuke, when they clearly are not ready. They want to create conditions that will raise global oil prices, something they have not been able to accomplish through OPEC.

This is nothing but the loud bully on the school bus, who has not yet been punched in the mouth.

We have established worldwide dominance WITHOUT even deploying our latest air technology (F-22, F-35).

I read in a thread somewhere here that in live mock battles a single F-22 took out something like 10 F-15s. Since the fall of the USSR, the "old school" F-15E has an astounding 26:0 kill ratio, I don't think we have to worry about Iran's old Soviet-era "airforce."

uh...haven't global oil prices in recent months been hovering around all time highs?

But I agree, a lot of this signifyin' is for internal consumption. Iran seems to be more fractured and less stable politically than the lazy whores and jerkoffs of the western media have understood, and they give a false picture of the country's putative unity.
