You southerners don't like Yankees too much I know, but why do you southerners send emissaries to the north to seek out technology companies using tax incentives (bribes) to relocate down there? Could it be that Yankee technology like mine is dependent on superior education and the classical ability to speak proper English?

I have been contacted by folks from the SC state capital to talk to me about relocating. I told them, don't bother, because all of my friends who have moved to the south have been immediate leaders in any industry they sought employment in. Isn't it even odd that many of the crew chiefs in NASCAR are out of the northeast? I think seriously, it is simply because they can actually speak in a language everyone can understand, but seriously, it is because they can order themselves and others, stay sober, don't have to talk and puff a butt at the same time, get up in the morning, and make it to work on time.

But with respect to Mitt Romney, the next President. It is at your peril that you have let out the welcome mat to so many of us Yankees. After all, we had the money to buy your property and make some of you rich. But the real reason Mitt is going all of the way is because all of the southerners who are LDS bashers will be taught a lesson, just as the R Catholic Church bashers were taught such a lesson in 1960 when JFK ran and won the Presidency.

It actually makes me kind of laugh when the southerners think that GWB is from the south. Well, he was born in CT from a parent who was born in Massachusetts who's parent was born in MA and who lives in ME for a large part of the year, and then he was raised in DC when he wasn't going to school in Andover MA or at Yale in CT. Yea, he is a real southerner.

I remember reading a town history of Yarmouth. It was common in the 1600's when it was hard to get skilled labor to move to a town to give them land to get them started, especially millers and beer makers. So it goes.

Technology in northeastern states zenithed during the industrial revolution. Yankee technology these days consists of finding new ways to tax people out of their house and home.

You call that gutteral giberish spoken in Noo Yawk, Noo Joisey, and Bassten proper English? I'm not exactly sure I would call what your inner city schools do a "superior education". They seem to excell at spending taxpayer dollars and little else.
