If the judgment was entered on the 20th of December, you don't count the 20th - the 30 day starts on the 21st.

It gives you the number of days between dates. From 20 December 2005 to 20 January 2006 (Friday) is 31 days. So even if you don't count the first day, the 30 days expired on Friday. It's all over.
